Had a lovely wine tasting at Sierra Starr, the experience was quite fun and was everything we would want from a tasting.The location is in the heart of downtown Grass Valley and the storefront is very welcoming. Love, love this winery! Impressed with the first contact on Yelp and the great follow up and through. I called last Friday to inquire if they were going to be open. (CA under major smoke and fire). They expressed not sure, really smokey! Phil Starr texted back 15 min later and said they had a lot of requests to open and they did for the 29th of August. Wonderful and friendly atmosphere. The Barbera is wonderful. Great spot to relax and enjoy a tasting. Family friendly which is nice. They even have coloring books and crayons for the kids.
