KAIDO Japanese Restaurant Reviews
I ordered over the phone and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Kelly took my order, was very kind and polite over the phone. When I got there to pick up my order, I was greeted and welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. My order was ready when I arrived and everyone I encountered was so nice. The Grass Valley rolls were good, rice was fresh and the edamame was good.
Good sushi place located downtown GV.
Service was friendly and attentive.
Soft shell crab appetizer seasoned and delicious.
The poke I had was chef a special. The sauces were flavorful but for me it took a way from my fresh fish ( my own preference). Nigeri Tako (octopus) was so good.
Sake was good try it cold.
Can get busy on Friday & Saturday reservations can be made for dinner.

Favorite sushi spot! I have eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants in my life and Kaido is my favorite. Recommend the croquettes and the Mill Street roll. Always fresh, great service, and great atmosphere. You won’t regret it. 10/10 no notes.
