We've been eating at Kaido's in Grass Valley CA for about 10 years and enjoy it very much. The waitress(s) are fun and provide some of the best service. Kos & Kaoru are the most humble and caring owners you will ever meet. We went on a 7500 mile vacation this year up North into Alaska and decided to eat Sushi out as often as possible, some of the cities were Sun Valley ID, Missoula MT, Whitehorse Yukon (twice), and Prince George BC. Everything was great. I thought the prices were reasonable and disagree with reviews which say otherwise. This is high quality food and there are plenty of lower priced items. Food was cooked just right and delicious. Our server, Mia, was very professional and on top of our serving needs. This is a small place, but tables not crowded even when full. Ambiance very pleasant and furnishings high quality. Will definitely return. Make a reservation.

Food was really tasty and good quality. A bit on the small serving sizes such as the seaweed salad and the tempura but so good and tasty. Service was good - friendly staff. Yes would recommend if wanting sushi and Japanese food if in the grass Valley area.
