Good food and good service. I prefer Cirino’s food but Sergio’s has superior patio dining with the closed Mill street

This is by far my favorite in Grass Valley. Great family owner restaurant. We love the delicious specials. I usually get the fish special. I also like the roasted veg salad. My brother in law raves about the tri-tip salad. We usually dine here on special occasions. I highly recommend.

I gave Sergio's Restaurant all fives because it was a great experience. I know a
lot of Americans don't care for the closeness in dining but it reminds me of European style dining. The closeness can bring people together & good conversation. I enjoyed this restaurant and will go again.

Another fabulous meal at Sergio's! Lunch for 2 (2 entrees and an appetizer) was only $55, which was quite a deal considering the portions were so large we could only eat half. Everyone is always so friendly, and the food is superb.

I happened to be in town for Thanksgiving, and with all of the restaurants closed, I found this restaurant to be the only place serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner besides a historical landmark the next town over.
I was completely impressed!
I started with a split of Prosecco to start off and had a really nice Pinot off the menu recommended by my Waiter.
The Turkey breast was the moistest I'd ever had. I wondered how they did it? Was it poached? The Yams were crusted with Pecans, the texture of the Dressing was much to my liking, and the Gravy, or was it the Dressing? had a hint of Terragon (for me the perfect amount).
They even served Apple Pie, and I got out of there for $68 + tip???
I'll definitely come back to try more items on their menu!
The place rocks!

My Husband ordered the veal saltimbocca with mashed potatoes: typically veal can be cut with a fork, this unfortunately was not the case and the mashed potatoes were from a bag, I could tell right away from it being grainy in my mouth. I ordered the wild mushroom risotto with added chicken: the first time it came out there was no chicken, waitress took it back, when it came back the chicken had fake grill marks on it like when you buy at Costco in the frozen section and the mushrooms were anything but wild, they were basic button mushrooms. The risotto was good and the service was great but the food was underwhelming especially for the price!

Sergio's is an incredible dining experience in Grass Valley. I enjoyed the Prosciutto wrapped halibut it was incredible. My wife had the spinach and ricotta ravioli very tasty. My brother-in-law had the osso buco the meat was so tender it was very delicious. Five stars all around.

The food here was fantastic!! I ordered the gnocchi and it was amazing, you can really tell the pasta here is fresh and everything is made to order. I ordered the calamari aswell and it was so tender and not rubbery at all. I tried a bit of my friends ravioli and it was perfectly garlicky and cheesy. It all had amazing flavor and the perfect balance. We ordered the chocolate mousse as dessert and it’s SO GOOD!! It’s perfectly chocolate-y and not overly sweet. The perfect thing to finish an amazing dinner. The staff was super friendly and very attentive and food got to us in a very timely manner. I would 100% recommend this place and will be returning! 10/10 experience and meal

This was by far the worse meal I’ve had in quite a while. The food was terrible, served cold, had to get them to take back both my dinner and my wife's’ to get heated to eating temperature. The food as a whole had a sense of being old, reheated, and poorly prepared. Veal parmigiana served with mashed potatoes? Really? Pasta is extra? The veal was unbelievable, I took it home to resole an old pair of motorcycle boots I have. I must say the staff was courteous, no problem there. All this for over $100. Never again.

Had a group lunch (14 folks). Food was excellent. Serving a group this size is never easy. Food was timely. We were looked after and they supported providing separate checks. Atmosphere seemed a little on the dark side, a little more lighting needed. Overall, a place to visit and have a really good meal.

So the last time I went over there i didn't mean to feel not too well after eating and apologized 3-4 times! to the one staff that's on duty. Or didn't mean to ruin her break/lunch as a customer. Or try to help in a way to clean up my puke mess that made the other customer uncomfortable and didn't mean too. Or tiping $2. And try to leave in a hurry because of embarrassed. How many times is there video cameras hope someone goes check.

Visited here during the business trip in Grass Valley. Had Alaskan halibut with risotto (which is rice for me anyways). Don’t know the name of the sauce, a bit sweet but I like it. Cheese cake is just average. Overall experience is great.
