New Year's Eve they had a great little band -- F37 was their name, I think. The bartender has a great personality and a sweet little dog. It's a nice crowd in there. Fun and friendly (I was from out of town), but they engaged. That's pretty cool for a small local bar where everybody knows everybody. My sister and I had fun.
Another good watering hole on hwy 174. Great service and very very friendly.

This is a good look at what an open jam should be on every 2nd and fourth Sunday.

Great local place. Friendly bartender, friendly locals, nice patio, jukebox, pool table, live jam band sessions on some nights. Good spot for a weeknight out. Drink prices are fair. Dog’s welcome on the patio. Always have a great conversation with a stranger here. Good times!

Awesome time Uncle Sunny's! Coolest spot in Grass Valley, hands down
Its a fun live music venue
My local dive!Just good, local people and a friendly atmosphere with live music, 2 nice pool tables and a shuffleboard. No food at this time (besides peanuts, etc) but rumor that TJ’s Roadhouse opening on-site where old Mexican restaurant (now closed) is located. This area of Grass Valley is beautiful, a short drive to Rollins Lake and the beautiful Yuba River!Hwy 174 is an awesome ride for those iron horses as well.
The help is friendly enough but it's a cash only bar and the ATMs available there are sketchy at best and expensive... definitely need to get with it on the plastic purchases. Also there's ZERO CELL RECEPTION. .
