What a fabulous place! We wandered up to Lucchesi on Mother’s Day looking for somewhere to have a relaxed picnic and have space for the kids to play. Linda was a fabulous host, she was welcoming and immediately got us setup with a wine tasting. After a tasting, I picked a glass and headed up to the grassy area. Wow wow!! The winery boasts a stunning hilltop view and friendly, knowledgeable staff who guide visitors through tastings of their acclaimed Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. Guests can bring their own snacks and enjoy the beautiful Sierra view while sipping on wonderful wines. The winery is tucked away down some gravel roads, but the signs guide the way to the top of the hill, where visitors can sit at tables and take in the stunning "view forever". The Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc are particularly praised, and the winery is a valuable asset to the local community.
