First time there was invited by a customer to go dancing. No one was out the door so I guess I missed paying the cover charge sat down tried to order calamari but they were sold out. I ordered the burger $17 for a burger with nothing else $7.50 for fries that were cold. The most expensive drink price I've paid in Nevada County for a cocktail over $13. The music tonight was fantastic but $60 including the tip was a bit too much next time I'll come in fed with my own drink or just water and I'll pay the cover charge if I ever go back, but the music was fantastic. When I ordered the calamari she said they were out so I told her give me a burger she didn't hear that so over an hour later the owner comes over to me asking for a cover charge and I told her I'm still waiting for my dinner two hours at that point, not impressed. I will only go there for the music and a glass of water. Do they charge for that? and I paid cash even though they charged me a few bucks for non cash payment . Their menu says the burger is 15 bucks but I was charged 17 just for a tiny burger with nothing else. No thank you

Had a fabulous dinner and dessert. We had the shrimp cakes, Chicken sandwich, fish and chips and the amaretto bread pudding, all wonderful! Great atmosphere, sweet staff, very welcoming. Loved they had some table games to play while we waited. Food was fabulous! Great date night ?

Love the Time Capsule feel, hopefully they don’t change or update it too much. Going modern like the Holbrook or how so many other countless bars in the city have done make em have no soul like some globalized nowhere places. Bread pudding was dope and love that it’s carpeted!

Drink prices are insultingly high for a neighborhood pub. $9 for a draft beer, $11 for a shot of Makers Mark. The high-end hotel bars at the Holbrooke and National don't even charge that much. I won't be back.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, great music, friendly helpful staff. Service is a bit slow sometimes with maybe not enough staff? Really familiar old time feel and you feel like "a regular" from the first time. One of my favorite places for a good meal and music and fun times with friends.

The food is delicious! The owners and staff are wonderful! The kombucha is really good! The entertainment is usually awesome! **I enjoy it when we go in to comedy open mic etc. I'll be honest and say that I live across the street and have enjoyed quite a few shows, played creekside, from my front porch. We love being able to play card games at the table while we wait as this is actually something we have been doing at home for several years now. For us, it's a very comfortable place to go and be ourselves.

Oh my, the Fondue that I shared with friends was Perfect. Music was a great band and the venue is worth coming back to. They have a full bar and specialty cocktails. A ? real treat in Grass ValleyVegetarian options: I loved the Delicious portobello soup and cornbread. So good on the cool fall evening
