Love coming to Golden Gong. Service is awesome and food comes out quick and hot. PooPoo platter is such a yummy appetizer! Definately recommend going there!

My first time here yesterday and WOW! The server was so friendly and kind, and my meal was DELISH!! I simply tried their "Bean Curd with Mixed Vegetables & Rice," and it was fantastic! So flavorful with subtle garlic sauce, mushrooms, brocolli, a lot of other good veggies. Large enough portion to get to take home half for dinner! Pleasant, quiet dining room with comfortable booths. Really happy to have discovered this place!

We have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. A couple of months ago we ordered takeout and it wasn’t very good. Today I called to order takeout, to give them a second chance. I told her the last time it wasn’t very good a specified my dislikes, and still the kompo chicken had no spice, even though I ordered spicy. The Egg foo young was insipid. The three flavored delicate was passable, but the chicken chow mein was terrible. Overall it was a disappointment. I will never be back. What a shame.

This place is amazing. I have been eating at SLO GG for years. We now live in SM. We saw the sister restaurant in GB and decided to check it out. Absolutely delicious (as usual).

I hate to write this review but it was literally the worst Chinese food I’ve had. Dinner special with fried rice and Mongolian beef to go. The staff seemed friendly enough but the food lacked the right flavor and had so much of the wrong flavor.The fried rice was lack-luster and flavorless. The Mongolian beef on the other hand was extremely fishy and had what seemed to be a whole onion taking over the dish.Sad because I am right around the corner but won’t be walking back.
