This is a solid, reliable, and dependable seafood market to obtain probably some of the freshest product in the area. They have a good selection of fish, shellfish, and live Dungeness and red rock crabs (when in season). I trust the freshness and quality of their offerings, far more, than any of the local supermarkets.
This is the best fresh fish I know of in the state of California. Every time I go to the coast, I will stop in the get fresh fish. They always ask me how far I will be traveling so they can make sure I can get it home nice and cold. I always have good service every time I go there.
Leave your fishing rod in the garage and tell your wife that there will be no fishy smells from a day at sea ... And instead jump into to your land cruiser for Old-Port-Fish and Seafood market where there is a fabulous selection fish and jumbo oysters for you to "catch "and enjoy. By the way the service and information from the staff is remarkable.
