Never open when you hope it would be but the view is worth the distracted service and shall I say, intriguing cuisine. Utterly spectacular views but recommend when warm.

If you’re Asian, I would strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant—it is not worth it. The treatment we experienced felt discriminatory and disrespectful.
When we arrived, the restaurant was half empty. Our group had 6 adults and 2 kids, without a reservation. The host told us we would need to wait an hour and a half. While some of the guys in our group went to sit at the bar for drinks, the women and kids waited by the fireplace. A staff member (not the host) told us we couldn’t wait there because kids aren’t allowed near the bar—even though the fireplace waiting area was right next to it. It was cold outside, so this was very uncomfortable.
On our way out, we overheard (what seemed to be a manager) telling another customer who had just walked in, “Oh, I told them to wait for 2 hours,” and then laughing and shaking hands with that guest. That confirmed to us that we were not treated fairly.
This experience left us feeling unwelcome, and it was very disappointing.
We had the halibut it was over cooked and very salty. The service was fair and the atmosphere was wonderful. The braised shirt ribs we very good but the vegetable and the blue cheese mouse were also very salty.

I don and His family took me to the VUE for Mother’s Day and the overall experience was LOVELY CELEBRATION 💝
The Food was Fantastic, and just the way we had ordered. Each course was perfectly timed and we never felt rushed ( despite the restaurant being quite busy! )
The wait staff were warm, friendly and discrete.
Needless to say the atmosphere and VUE were incredible.

My boyfriend and I (Hispanic) spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to attend us after sitting down. We locked eyes multiple times with multiple waiters in hopes that they would at least ask us for our drink order. Everyone else around us were either eating or finishing up their food and yet no one bothered to serve us. As we were leaving, an older white lady that was attending the tables near us was at the bar chatting. Would not recommend coming here.

The waiter put his fingers on top of the rim of the water glasses. I do not want to be licking his fingers. Then get sick! Waitors touch money and other unsanitary things. If the waiter does that who knows how they are with sanitation! older people dine there they do not need to be handled that way! If management lets the waitors do that then they must be inept!

Kelly was the best server. Food was immaculate as well as the views. Little to no wait at all.

Cruised by this one HWY 1 and turned around to see what it's about! This beautiful place offers BEAUTIFUL views of the bay/ocean while you wine and dine. And it opens at 5, so depending on your arrival and wait time, you can watch the sun touch the water, and go away to hide til tomorrow while you eat!
The food, the Fish and Cips are excellent! They do have pan seared scallops and locally sourced beef for burgers and steak options!
Locally sourced wine and beer selections as well!
Ask for Garrett as your waiter, he knows the good stuff both on the menu, and the places to see if you're a tourist enjoying your way through the area!

Rock on Brother 🤙
Turned away at 830pm. Service stopped at 8. Open until 9. Dont make the mistake we did and wait to eat here.
Yesterday, my partner and I had dinner ant Vue’s Kitchen. We sat next to the window and had an incredible view. Our waiter, Rusty told us about the specials for the day. He was very polite and respectful. I got the halibut and my partner had ribs. The food was plated beautifully, fresh and the flavor was AMAZING! Even the calamari was delicious!! And that sauce… WOW!! We decided on the cheesecake for dessert and it was just enough to satisfy our palette. It was smooth, silky, not too sweet and very enjoyable. Our experience overall was AWESOME!

We came rather late on a Thursday night after being turned away at a different restaurant and the staff was so polite and accommodating. The atmosphere was fancy, warm and cozy but kid friendly as we brought our seven month old baby and no one seemed to mind. The food was incredible, we all finished our plates and they offered me a birthday dessert but we were just too full and satisfied for more. Thank you so much. One of my best meals and we came all the way from Boston.
