It was my first time eating at Trillium and I had a wonderful lunch here today. Three succulent oysters, a delicious prawn ceviche, and THE BEST crab sandwich I've ever had, with a side of pickled veggies. The atmosphere is bright and comfortable, and the staff are fun and hospitable. There is also a great "Happy Hour and a Half" from 4:00pm-5:30pm with a nice list of $7 bites, beer, and wine. About as good as you can get!
I need to learn how to bake focaccia now, to try to recreate that decadent stuffed focaccia sandwich… A sublime mound of velvety soft prosciutto by Zoe’sMeats, atop a thick layer of confit garlic, layered with slices of sweet and tart fresh peaches, mint leaves, and unctuous burrata (but perfectly good without cheese if you’re lactose intolerant like me) between two halves of a fresh, toasty crunchy savory homemade bun. We arrived in town on a Tuesday and we’re very disappointed to discover most places were closed… then we found this place and everything turned out perfectly! Delicious food and great wine- fabulous oysters and wonderful service !
