Tried Happy Valley Village/Shanlitun recently and had a really pleasant experience. The iron-stew pot dishes were warm, comforting, and well-balanced in flavor, with fresh ingredients throughout. Portions are generous, making it easy to share without feeling overwhelming. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the service was friendly and consistent. Overall, a solid spot for a low-key meal with good, authentic Northeastern Chinese food at a reasonable price.
