You would never think this was a fine dining restaurant from the outside. Every detail on the inside is quality. From the silverware to the service, these owners did not cut corners on anything. If you come when it is slow, you will feel like royalty. The lobster bisque is mind blowing. When I say you will lick the plate, I am not exaggerating. This restaurant is a must try for any seafood lover.

We went for our daughter's birthday and had a wonderful time. First the food, we ordered seafood paella, baby back ribs, lobster bisque, and flan for dessert. Everything is great, the paella is loaded with seafood on top, the rib is falling off the bones tender, and both very flavorful. My personal favorite is the lobster bisque which is so tasty, I literally licked the bowl and spoon. The flan is also great, not your run of the mill flan at other places. Now the service. There was only one lady serving all the tables so it could be a little slow at times. But she made it up with her warmth and her knowledge of the foods they offer. She really made us feel at home, which was great for the occasion. It is a small unassuming place but it is cozy. I will definitely come back again and introduce our friends to this place. It's a gem!

The food here is brilliant, and you could not find a friendlier staff. This was our second time trying this somewhat hidden gem and we thoroughly enjoyed it on both occasions. The Lobster Bisque is fantastic, the seafood paella was more than worth the wait, and the Pork belly was perfect.
On a Friday we opted for a late morning hike along Half Moon Bay and stopped in here for a late lunch. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant. Loved the gluten-free options here. As the paella requires a 30 minute wait we ordered some local beers and a crab-stuffed pepper appetizer and fries. The service was friendly. The seafood paella was so tender which is difficult to do with scallop, shrimp and squid and the saffron and tomato flavor was great. Worth the wait!
An unexpected Christmas dinner for me. I accidentally found Evangeline's on a beach trip and alone. The lobster was delicious and so flavorful! It made my Christmas dinner special. Very friendly and welcoming restaurant
