This was my first time visiting this bakery. Nice vibe great pictures, great pastries, and donuts breads. However, out of the staff unfortunately I got the rotten apple. No hello, how can I help? Lol, I got the look as if I’m to now I’m next. I ordered four different kinds of cookies and cannolis. I got four individual bags to carry out the 4 different types of cookies I ordered.? Maybe, I should have asked earlier to put them in a box but Honestly, I didn’t know how much I was going to order. Everything looked delicious! Sometimes common sense goes a long way.? I did ask after if I could please have a box to make it easier to carry the cookies out. She gave me the box and walked away nice!? Trust me, I understand I work retail. However, just remember this one thing… Customers are there keeping you employed with the job whether you’re tired or not whether you wanna be there or not! Treat your customers with respect always!!! Great them with one word “Hello” if anything it’s respect, that’s customer service! Have a great day..
P.S your cannolis were amazing!

A great little spot filled with cookies, pastries, and a few sandwiches.

What makes this place cool is the history of drag racing. The walls are covered with raceways from the Half Moon Bay Drag Strip's heyday

I ordered a dozen doughnuts and the Mexican lady at the register was rude she wasn't paying attention to what I was asking she ignored me and punched my box of doughnuts aside. The doughnuts were old and stale I didn't realize until I got to my work place. It was very embarrassing..... I'll never buy doughnuts there ever again. This happened April 09 in the morning 8:15am

Everything was delicious and fresh. Was worried that some of the items would be too sweet, but not so. This bakery nails traditional American style bakery items!! We had blueberry scone, sugar yeast donut, apple cinnamon muffin, cinnamon puff pastry twist, buttermilk bar and brewed coffee. Quality was impeccable! The service was wonderful as well! We would gladly stop in again if we are passing through or staying in HMB in the future! Cheers, the Pope family

Very average bakery with cookies, pastries, donuts and savory flatbreads. We stopped in while walking down Main St and looked at everything in the display case while we waited patiently in line. Prices seem to be on the high side, but that's what I would expect for downtown HMB.I picked up a gingerbread cookie to try and was pretty disappointed at how it lacked any actual ginger flavor. The cookie itself was cakey looking, but somehow very dry and didn't taste fresh. I've had better baked goods from grocery stores, next time we'll skip this bakery and get ice cream somewhere else instead.

On a $39.00 bill they charged me $3900.00!!! (I have my receipt) the owner attempted to ONLY electronically refund me $1400.00 and I had to remind him of the total… he electronically refunded another $2500.00 to make me whole and then reversed it when I left the bakery (status of refund changed in my bank records and bank confirmed). FRAUD! Working through the proper channels to get my refund as he’s making zero attempt to properly correct and refund…even with all proof on my side and his admittance of mistakes!!!
