We used to eat here since before covid. Food is still good, portions generous and well priced. Highly recommend. Oh and the coffee is good too.

We ordered a matcha frappucino and it turned out to be an artificial drink made with flavored powder. Horrible taste and no trace of matcha, tasted like toothpaste

I refrain from bad reviews, but this was awful. My mom and I stopped in to share a sandwich. The tuna melt was unbelievably about $20.00. We ordered at the counter and then sat a table. The tuna melt was brought and placed in the middle of the table with a stack of 2 plates. The sandwich was cut sloppily in 1/2, actually the way it was cut was not in 1/2. One piece was much larger than the other. The sandwich looked like a 4 year old threw it together. It was smashed and warped in appearance. It was messy and tuna was all over the plate. ( not because it was overflowing with tuna either) The fries were cold and hard. The tables were dirty. The bathroom was filthy. Other than my company, the experience was awful. From the outside it seems appealing and thought it would be a nice spot to get a small bite. Not even close. There are several other spots to get a good sandwich at half the price.

First, I will say that it has a wide variety of food and drink offerings. The service is a hybrid of self serve and dine in service. There are tables and chairs stacked up in the corners, making the cafe seem disheveled and not clean. I walked here, but there seemed to be ample parking. The front cashier/server/barista has an attitude that I really didn't appreciate or need before I had my morning coffee.. I ordered a medium house coffee and lox bagel. She said my total was $21. (Never mind, please take out the lox bagel. I'll just go get some pastries at the many bakeries and patisseries in HMB) the tables were not cleaned, the front house lady kept eyeing me as I sat at a table to read a book and enjoy my burnt commercial tasting coffee.. no thanks. Won't be coming here again unfortunately...

Love the food and coffee here.I had to edit my review because I came for cappuccino last week and it was the worst I've ever had. I've had a lot in my life. I'm not sure she's ever made a cappuccino before. The server didn't offer forks or napkins with our to go desserts which clearly needed utensils. There are some other great places in the area to spend money next time.

This place has the BEST hollandaise sauce making the best Benedict's! And hash browns... and baked goods!

Wife had eggs Benedict (made by Oscar). Excellent eggs and the country potatoes were exemplary--lightly browned and crispy but soft inside. The bakery treats I had--blueberry scone and chocolate chip muffin--were soft, flavorful and made with minimal sugar. Notably, the scone didn't have the "rock salt" of sugar on top that almost everybody thinks is essential for anything blueberry. You could actually enjoy the blueberries!

They have by far the best desserts on the coast, all freshly made daily. I recommend the apple pie or chocolate bundt cakes as those are my favorites. The servers don't come to you, you order at the counter then they bring your food out, but the owners who are always there are very friendly as are the staff. The ambiance is geared toward family, but if you're just out and want to get some work done, you can take your time and relax with a book or a computer as you would at any other coffee shop. I couldn't recommend this place any higher.

Delicious soups, three offerings daily. Clam Chowder was my choice and a friend had the Pesto Avocado Toast. Be prepared it's a huge portion! Excellent coffee and plenty of seating, both inside and outside.

Stumbled across this place on a road trip from San Fran to Carmel. We thought it was great - really fresh and healthy food on offer and lovely flavours. If only every cafe was like this. Don’tmiss as a stop off

Nice long breakfast menu, executed well - including items and IHOP couldn't pull off such as a Southwestern omelette. Not the most comfortable

I must have come on a bad day (Friday). Service was sub-par and lacked politeness and courtesy. They even charged me an extra .50c just for an empty cup!

Well just not a great experience. My husband ordered a hot tea and a muffin. The tea tasted like dirty water, no flavor. Yuck!! The muffin was average at best but was chocolate chip not blueberry like it said. I ordered a latte and a bagel but the woman making the coffee drinks was definitely not having a good day. She looked kind of annoyed, never smiled or even acknowledged me. The bright spot was the woman taking orders. She was very nice. The latte tasted like hot milk, no coffee flavor really . The bagel was worse. The cream cheese was just shall we say very bad. Oh well I guess we mark this one off the list. We will not be returning.
