Came by during open hours and spotted a sign but lots of closed doors without a marked place to enter and the parking lot was almost empty - wandered around the building for a few but left when there wasn't any clear way to actually enter the business - genuinely not even sure they're still in business

This is a pure gem! If you can imagine the process, taste and finish to a record label Vodka and Gin HMB distillery does not disappoint. If your going to have something good start here. Cheers!

We were there today, Sunday, after the posted open hour, but no one was there. No sign. I even phoned while there but no answer. Too bad, not good for prospective customers.

Drove from Petaluma to check this place out. Lots of open seats, we were turned away because we did not have reservations and were not ordering food. Staff was RUDE. Was told bartender was behind and can't help us! Never been treated this bad before

Passing by the area and saw them open. They gave away free hand sanitizers to the community. Kudos to that.

A wonderfully pleasant surprise - The view was spectacular, the cuisine was excellent and diversified, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Our server – Susan – has been there for 38 years and was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area. Arrive early (while still light) and enjoy the vistas.

Half Moon Bay Distillery is a small, local distillery that prides themself on producing super premium quality spirits using, with rare exception, all natural and organic ingredients and botanicals.

A fun small distillery with $10 tastings. The vodka was fantastic and we got to try some “experimental tastings” highly recommend!

We had a great time experiencing not only tasting their vodka and gin, but giving our input on potential upcoming flavors.

Wonderful team to work with! We hosted a team activity mixology class/competition with a large group and David and his team were amazing! They took care of everyone and made sure all of our needs were met. We had a great time and the group could not stop talking about their experience. Not only was the experience memorable, but the gin and vodka we tasted was top notch. If you are looking for a fun experience with friends, family, or corporate definitely check out HMB Distillery! Will definitely be back.

The restaurant has a variety of food, especially seafood of course but also a veggie burger for me! It’s across the street from the bay so nice view. Kids (age 6) liked the deep fried pickles! They have heaters to keep it comfortable if you want to sit outside. Only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is that the food is pretty conventional and not really gourmet.

We enjoy vodka and found this distillery so we decided to drop in. We arrived as they opened and we received a first class experience with David Gorsuch as our vodka and gin expert. He was welcoming and made us feel right at home. We spent about 45 minutes tasting the different vodkas and gin that HMB Distillery makes. We received information on how the spirits are made and marketed. We were able to sample their vodka and gin as well as their infused vodkas which are being test marketed at the distillery. We provided our honest opinion on the different infused vodkas which included fennel, lavender and nasturtium infused vodka. We liked the simple vodka the best. We ended up purchasing two bottles of vodka and then we went home and blind taste tested Purissima (their vodka) against Ketel One both on the rocks with a twist of lemon. Both my wife and I picked the Purissima. We will be ordering more as Purissima is very smooth and gentle to the palate. Make a visit as you will enjoy both the visit and the vodka.

A fun little side attraction while in HMB. Craft made, small batch hootch - Vodka and Gin for now, with brown liquor to come down the road a bit. Seems the owners are still kind of new to the distilled spirits business and not sure they have a "style" yet and it still shows... But not to say their booze isn't the "good stuff" and we ended up with a bottle of Vodka, so yea, we're fans!
