I found the sushi to be quite average during my visit. When the waitress checked in to see if everything was okay, I mentioned that I wasn't particularly fond of one of the items, but unfortunately, she didn’t seem able to help address my concern at all. As I was leaving, she kindly asked if I wanted to take the leftovers with me, but I decided against it. I hope that in the future, they might focus more on customer feedback. While I appreciate the experience, I will not be returning ever, as I was hoping for something a little more special.

What a fantastic hole-in-the-wall gem we stumbled upon! We were unfamiliar with the area, and found this place was open when most other sushi places were closed, so off we went. Did not know this was a tiny 12-seat strip mall sushi restaurant, but man... it did NOT disappoint!
Everything we had from the pork gyoza, tempura, teriyaki chicken, to the sushi (chirashi don) was perfect. A+ on the fish; large cuts of very fresh sushi, and perfect sushi rice. All at amazing prices.
If we ever return to Half Moon Bay, we will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place.

I honestly really love this place. I had sushi before and the sushi here make me feel really excited when I took the first bite. I would definitely wanna go to this place again, and maybe bring a friend!! 10/10 5 stars. I loved the California rolls & poppers. The poppers made me do a little dance when I took the VERY FIRST BITE. I wish I could eat the poppers everyday.

Small cute shop. My boyfriend and I went in exploring the area were from out of the area ordered one roll each we thought the spider roll didn’t have sesame seeds. Once we saw it we just decided to pick the seeds off since my boyfriend is allergic the staff noticed and immediately checked up on us and made him a new roll. This is the first time any small or large sushi restaurant has been so attentive. It was awesome and delicious.

I got assorted sashimi and every piece was fresh and flavorful. They even put real wasabi on the tuna which I've only seen done once before. I was thrilled that they serve brown rice. When I called to make a reservation I was in an area where my call dropped. They called me back! So incredible service, food and very reasonable prices. We will return!
