The food was delicious and it came within 10 minutes!! I loved the ambiance, even the little touch of putting the check in a Winnie the Pooh book. The staff was very friendly and I loved their aprons. Very welcoming exept the door was hard to open. I can't wait to go back and bring friends. There is something for everyone here. We went during the week and all the tables were full inside and outside. As a local I would avoid this restaurant during the weekend. The weather was fantastic.

If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast/brunch/lunch spot along the PCH look no further! This is an upscale diner with fresh twists on classic dishes. There are tables and plenty of comfortable counter seating. The Short Rib Benny was perfect and the potatoes were excellent. The Cobb Salad was delicious and generous in size. The coffee was great and the service was attentive without being overly so. Great find in Half Moon Bay along a cute main thoroughfare with local shops.

For folks living in Half Moon Bay it's home. For me, living in Oakland, it's an escape made up of surf, beaches and breakfast! And Johnny's is definately the place for breakfast. It was my first time, it was great, it reminded me of earlier times were a hearty breakfast was what it was about, to set you up for a great day! The food was excellent, the ambience was cool and the staff was very accomodating. It will now be my to go place on my visit's to HMB!

The setting is a small.town diner - nicely done and well appointed. It's small and POPULAR so go early to avoid a wait. The staff are warm and friendly. The coffe is good but the food is to die for! The breakfast potatoes are twice baked red potatoes with rosemary! They are so crispy and flavorful! I had the Short Rib Benny - it was melt in your mouth delicious! Real hollandaise and the short rib was fall apart tender and richly flavored. The portions are generous as well. This is my new favorite breakfast spot!

Service staff is super sweet, the chefs know what they are doing, the coffee and the food are top notch, … after having breakfast here, we came back the next day because it was SO good.

One of the best breakfast joints I’ve encountered! The food is always super fresh and I haven’t had a bad dish yet. Great coffee, too! Try the avocado toast and the biscuits and gravy. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here regularly.
