We had a nice round table in the window and the service was excellent!! The Caesar salad was just as expected and on point with flavor. The gnocchi was superb as always and the salmon was melt in your mouth tasty. The pumpkin gelato is seasonal and you better get it before it is gone from the menu!! It was truly a delightful dining experience.
Very good food for very reasonable prices. A very good ambiance at a nice location just away from the marina. The menu was maybe a bit ‘standard Italian', nothing surprising. But it was all excellent. Good size portions too. The only minor disappointment was the bread. Very professional service.
We always go to this restaurant when we are in the area. It has never failed to please us mightily. The food is always excellent, and the service is equally so. I am always moved to be extra generous with the tip!
As always Mezza Luna never disappoints!! We brought our niece and her husband for lunch and they couldn't stop raving about the entire experience. We drove 1 1/2 hours each way to have lunch and didn't regret a single minute of it, the whole experience is worth it. Highly recommend Mezza Luna!!
We love eating at this restaurant . The service and food are always what we expect. VERY GOOD 👍. The pasta and sauces are wonderful.
Mezza Luna appears to be a favorite restaurant in this area. We can't imagine why. Our single visit there was disappointing. The pasta dish we ordered was a big gummy mass and the other dishes were so-so. The balsamic salad dressing was tasteless and did little more than flatten the greens. Service was good, we were seated next to a very noisy party of 16 or so, the decor was fine but the ambiance not so much.
First time here! Hostess was annoyed we asked for window seat with view. But after that service was great and food was fantastic!
As always, great food and, relative to the Bay Area in general, very reasonable prices. We'll be back! _ John
We've been going to Mezza Luna for over 30 years because we love the staff. It's convenient to where our ranch is and it's just OK. They haven't changed the menu in 30 years. In fact they've cut it down. There's nothing interesting even the specials boring repetitive but we still keep going The closest restaurant to where we're at good service just to have I don't have to cook.
Our favorite restaurant on the coast, always excellent food and service. Our grandchildren have gone since they were babies, now order from the adult menu!

Family owned and operated, this white-linen tablecloth Italian restaurant has been our go to restaurant near Princeton Harbor for decades. Amazing food and coastal upscale vibe when we want a local laidback dining experience with friends - and just steps away from the craziness of OPL, HMB Brewery, Jettywave, Barbara's and Ketch. If you want to catch a Niners game and party, they have an awesome bar with screens too! A must on the coast.
Terrific food, service and ambiance. Wonderful scenic break from San Francisco. Easy parking and fun harbor to explore to walk off the great desserts.
Our favorite birthday meal and tradition Great service and food in a lovely restaurant that so many locals go to that tells you its a gem
We dined at Mezza Luna on a Tuesday evening. It was not too busy, but business was steady. My husband had the meat special (Pork cutlet scallopini with morels, seasonal vegetables, and potato strata, and I had Farfalle Genovese (pesto sauce). We also had a starter of calamari fritti. Without hesitation, I must say this was the best meal we've had in a very long time. The quality of the food was spectacular. Everything was prepared with care and seasoned to perfection. The wait staff were lovely: attentive without hovering. I had a glass of thene-the perfect pinot noir. My husband tried one of their signature cocktails, the Strada (or something like that), which was delicious. We dined elsewhere the next night...and we wished we had returned to Mezza Luna. We'll be back!
The octopus and swordfish carpacio was fantastic. Dinner service was excellent Wonderful experience for our anniversary.
