the old manager lady with the glasses needs to learn customer service she was extremely rude and mumbling under her breath as she walked away I should have caused a scene I'd fire her asap! very unprofessional I never have reviewed any store til today that's how bad of an experience it was even your guys yelp is almost a 2 star?? get it together

They recently remodeled the store which makes things confusing... but my main gripe is that their deli section recently started carrying Boar’s Head meats. Which is good, but the prices are astronomical. I used to buy cold cuts and sandwiches there but they’ve priced themselves out of my budget. There’s a New Leaf right across the street and it’s actually becoming more cost effective to shop there now.

CHECK EXPIRATION DATES! This store, and the one in Pacifica are notorious for stocking expired food on their shelves.

Less than 50 miles from Gilroy, in the middle of the garlic festival, and this store was out of garlic for over a week? Need I say more? If I do, I'd use words like embarrassing, mismanagement, stupidity, etc...
So, I usually don't like to gave a review but not this time. On May 4 at 11am something to 12noon! I Was doing my grocery shopping for our dinner everything was I thought was okay until I got home. So, when I was putting my groceries away I realized I don't have my 2 large cream chicken soup and It's on the receipt. After 20mins got to go back in safeway it's a pain and the butt but fine. . So, talked to the same lady( her name is Susan) who rang my groceries and told her I

I am giving you three stars because the cake we picked up Saturday afternoon was tasty. We picked a strawberry 1/2 sheet cake and asked that Happy Birthday Julia be written on it. When they handed me the cake my friend and I were speechless. I literally looked like a kindergartener wrote it. Now I understand by the afternoon the cake decorators may be gone so if you don't have anyone that can proficiently write on a cake SAY SO! We took the cake hoping our friend would find it funny and thank God she did but it was was unacceptable. I have a picture of it if you care to see it.

Very disappointed regarding Hawaiian (yellow) papayas. Over the years I have repeatedly asked this store to carry them to no avail. We have 2 supermarkets and a grocery store; yet I have to drive to Pacifica to get the above-mentioned papaya. Ridiculous!
