I ordered take out from Taste Cafe the morning after arriving into HMB for a weeklong trip in an AirBnb. They were conveniently located in a popular shopping plaza that was easy to find and get to.I ordered Eggs Benedict and switched ham for avocado since I'm a vegetarian. They they I couldn't do a substitution, but basically had to order no ham and then pay for the upcharge on the avocado. Exceeded my expectations. Casual atmosphere and family friendly. It’s so rare to find a solid breakfast spot with variety and quality.Pancakes are super fluffy. Chilaquiles were on point. Service was frequent and friendly.

My wife and I recently stopped here for breakfast on our way back to the Sacramento area, and this place did not disappoint. Great service, and a very clean environment set the tone for breakfast. As a California native and someone thats eaten Mexican breakfast a million times, the Chilaquiles Rancheros was the best we've ever had. We didn't get to try the Belgium waffles, which looked amazing, but maybe next time. Great place ?
