I was asked at time of reservation and upon being seated; "Is this a special occasion?". I answered that it's for my wife's birthday. Me and my adult kids were expecting the restaurant would do something special for the birthday girl. But NOTHING happened. So disappointed and what's the point of asking the question.!
It was very confusing to tell where the host stand was located. The restaurant was running behind and we were sat 30minutes late. Also had to pay $50 for parking since we were not guests of the hotel. The host did not offer drinks or appetizers while we were waiting. The bar area lighting was too bright and uninviting, otherwise we would have sat in that area. Our table was located in a nice location, but the ambiance needed music for the space.
Food was surprisingly mid though the desserts made up for any shortcomings in the earlier courses. Plus the view is unmatched. Service was spotty at best and somewhat unwelcoming at worst.
