“We stumbled here by accident and we are so glad we ended up staying to eat. I don't eat meat or dairy so I just ordered the Vegetarian without cheese, the chef (aka mom/owner) came out after seeing my order and asked if I wanted to sub out mayo for hummus (I LOVED THAT, I didn't even have to tell them about the mayo, GOOD LOOKING OUT MOM). The service was great, it's a family run restaurant and they were so kind and attentive--felt like home. The food portions were big! The Veggie Sammie was huge! I did not eat it all, so it was lunch and dinner for me. My friend had the omelet and it was huge too. Their homemade bread was so crispy & tasty, perfect for my sammie. I will definitely be returning! Oh and when they found out it was my birthday, they offered me a freebie dessert. So sweet.

Vegetarian options: The Vegetarian Sammie and hummus plate. I think they would be happy to accommodate though. They seemed really accommodating.“

“I love the Lemon 🍋 Herb Chicken. It is the best. The chicken is so moist and juicy. I love dipping the chicken in the juice, getting all the flavor. I get it with a bake potato 🥔 with butter 🧈 and sour cream and mixed vegetables. My daughter loves it, too.“

“I felt like soup. I got a large vegetable soup with potatoes and rice. It was so big, I had the rest the next day for lunch. The garlic sauce with pita bread is so amazing! They roast the chicken to perfection. I ordered to go. The soup was well packed.“

“Dynamite Mediterranean spot located in a Lawndale area ghost kitchen. Everything that I tried here was fresh-tasting, well-seasoned and so delicious! Standouts for me were the kafta kabob and the gyro meat. I was very impressed with the authenticity of the flavors and the loving care put into the preparation and the presentation. And, the accompanying baba ganoush was very fresh and tasty. David, the chef and owner (along with his wife) is very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to try some other items on the menu.“

“QUITE LITERALLY one of the best hidden gems in LA. The chicken skewers are jumbo and the sides are FIRE. The mac and cheese is just as good as the best I've ever had. The brussel sprouts are solid.One of the BEST values out there. And hidden in a super market. Whoda thunk?

“Came for breakfast. Food was hot, coffee good. Omelet and hash browns were good portion. Waffle more like a home cooked waffle. A little too much grease for me, but it was okay for my husband. Solid breakfast place. Might come back for lunch, the burrito and sandwich menu was fairly substantial.“
