“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“This is a good choice when you want shave ice dessert the flavors are natural I’m allergic to a lot of colors and they don’t add any additives so if you were sensitive as I am, I has not reacted to anything that I have order there, which is very common with this desert. they had lots of colors this place doesn’t.“

“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.

Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.“

“I love this place! I used to come here often when I was working in DTLA. The food is legit, my favorite Japanese comfort food place in Little Tokyo. At that time, long ago, I remember the owner worked in the kitchen and his daughter will be serving the tables, a true family business. I think I saw the son now administering this place, he was in school when I was coming here.
One of the few original places left here, a clear indicator that their food and service are always good. I should come again soon with my family to reminisce the good old days and have a wonderful meal.“

“been here several times, best bingsu spot in the greater area. always get the mango (best when summer season for peak ripeness). thought the cinnamon toast was alright, the flavors without syrup can't really compete though. the chocolate crepe cake was also okay, though for the price you should just get bingsu.“

“Definitely the place to be on Sunday fun day! If you miss home in Hawaii, you'll feel like you are home not just because of the ono food but the incredibly courteous and caring staff. I drove up from Orange County and, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an ALOHA and watched the place get packed. It was a perfect place to meet up with friends! Spam & eggs with rice for breakfast hit the spot. Malasadas are fresh and warm! Then they added live musicians playing Hawaiian music and I didn't want to leave. “Brought my daughter after jujitsu class... we were ordering and i saw the new reopens drinks and suggested she try one of them... she said she wanted to stick with her original order of a mango smoothie with no boba and mango jelly and popping boba... before we even paid the drink was prepared... one thing I noticed was all the employees were smiling... my daughter left her phone on the counter and we walked over to the bakery next door... as we were walking out Roxy came and brought us the phone.... thank you for a great experience and saving us a headache.“

“Came to Petco and got out of the parking lot through the alley behind saw a small little shop that sells Hawaiian shaved Ice. I told my kid we’re gonna try it. We ordered a small with coconut blueberry and mango. It’s very delicious. The portions are very good. We’ll be coming back this summer. Taste like snow 🤣“

“Best place to get raspados!! All the flavors are made with real fruit, all natural. They also have ice cream, which is delicious. It almost tastes like they make it in house as well. They also have other little snacks like chips with nacho cheese. I highly recommend this place!

“I had been wanting to try these ice creams for a while but every time that I found myself around International Ice Cream, I never had cash with me.

Thankfully, I found an ATM nearby. Since I had to wait so long to try these ice creams, I went all in and got me a three scoops cup. My God ...

If you are like me and you never carry cash, either bring some with you or run to the nearest ATM. It is so worth it. There's real passion behind these, the flavors are amazing and the creaminess is just right. The scoops are very, and I mean VERY generous. I wasn't sure I would be able to finish it but I had waited too long to back down so I did finish it all.

“Milk Tea Boba and delicious Desserts are in full effect over here! Plus if you enjoy those eye pleasing aesthetics then this place has got you covered. All of their drinks we tried were tasty and very satisfying. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my videos to attach but I’ll post pics soon the next time I come back. If you’ve been following me through So Cal you best believe I don’t post mediocre pictures. The atmosphere is chill and the service is great and that you can actually see from some of my pictures. I must warn you though, this place gets super packed and my recommendation is getting here early and you got to order that cute dessert sleeping bear. So if you’re in the area and in the mood for sweet drinks in a super cute setting then definitely check this place out for sure.“
