“This little spot is efficient, delicious, quaint, and has great service. Great spot for a quick bite. The parking can be tight. Their bagels are FANTASTIC! The bagels stay soft for more than one day, unlike their competitors whose bagels become bricks overnight. I go out of my way to buy from here. Oh, and they have a great selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and breakfast sandwiches.“

“I recently visited here and was blown away by the quality of their bagels. The texture was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They offer a great variety of flavors, and I highly recommend the everything bagel with cream cheese. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, even during a busy morning. “A weekday-only bagel shop run by a couple who used to manage bigger chains. Their everything bagel with house-smoked salmon and chive cream cheese was the highlight of my morning. The bagels were dense, chewy, and perfectly toasted. They offer gluten-free options, too. The tiny shop has a few stools—expect a short line around 8 AM“

“I've tried a few different items and each time they were delicious. My favorite has to be the quiches, though. Sandwiches are a bit pricey for a bagel sandwich but I guess what isn't pricey these days? Especially in Danville.

Staff is always nice and quick to create orders.

My favorite drink there is the Thai tea with boba.“

“Cute bagel shop! Happened to be in the area and stopped here. We were greeted by welcoming and friendly staff and surprised by the assortment of bagels (they even have a blueberry cinnamon crunch!). I’d been craving toast so they happily crafted an off the menu breakfast sandwich for me while my daughter had nova lox on poppyseed. Both hit the spot! They’re expanding their back deck too! Tables have fresh flowers and thriving succulents. Great way to start the day!“

“Who would have expected a really good bagel place in Castro Valley? And yet this place consistently impresses. The service is beyond reproach, polite but professional with a smile. The bagels are great: bready, just chewy enough but not so much that it will hurt your jaw, crisp on the outside. Toothsome, would be a good way to describe them. “We stopped in at the recommendation of our local hosts. If you’re a Starbucks person or a cop, don’t come here. This is a real neighborhood cafe. The community is outstanding, the people are incredibly nice and social, and the chai I had was amazing. Vegan baked goods are also delicious. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Oakland!“

“Bagel Street Cafe is absolutely fantastic. The fresh cappuccino I got was excellent even in a paper cup due to us only swinging by. The Asiago burnt to perfection on top of the bagel delivered a great flavor. The chewy bagel was delightful. I went simple with egg and turkey and all the flavors were excellent with the cheddar cheese. With us merely passing through we asked where we needed to go and we were told this spot was a must try. The Chai was phenomenal according to my wife. I got to try it and if you can put a “season into a cup it’s fall” and that is what this chai tasted like. With so many flavors coming through it was remarkable. Over all this was a great breakfast stop as we embarked on our trek down to Monterrey! If you are passing through San Ramon look this place up……also there was a farmers market near by that would have been amazing to see if we had known about it ahead of time!“

“Dennis, the owner, is awesome. Great selection of bakery pastries like scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. He also has freshly baked French bread and dinner rolls. I personally go there for some coffee and a breakfast croissant, along with some French bread for dinner. Prices are way more affordable than the lee’s next door. Glad to give small business owners like Dennis my business.“

“This is another location to get donuts and bagels. I’ve never been to a donut shop where it has a self-serving coffee station. Usually, staff will have to give you coffee cups. The place is small also where I came in. I kinda thought it might be quite bigger based on what I looked up online. They also serve certain pastries too, but don’t know if that’s common on other donut places.

I wouldn’t normally go here since it’s not a local restaurant, but would come here if I feel like I need to stop by here and eat.“
