Like a blast from the past! Terrific St.Louis ribs, smoked to perfection. Try the Red Sauce it's like nothing I have ever had down in the Southern U.S., and adds a unique taste to the meat. Ruby my server was as pleasant as my meal was. And the restaurant itself was clean and organized and tastefully non updated. Sit at the counter to get the real feel here. I will be back on my next business trip here in Hayward. ❤

Been going here for years and the food is delicious, the staff is friendly and it's got a nice "sit wherever you want" casual vibe.
Manager/owner or whoever he is, is an idiot. Came out of nowhere and accused me of walking out on my bill almost 2 months ago. After about 10 minutes of an extremely embarrassing situation that he wasn’t even remotely quiet about, I had to be the one to explain to him that I paid via their app (some QR scan and pay app). I got a half hearted apology and excuses when we proved it was paid and he not even once thought he should make some kind of accommodation for the absolute embarrassment.To the restaurant: You should probably learn to do better research and reconcile your books correctly before you make that kind of accusation. Apparently you took it out of your waitresses wages too which is equally ridiculous. 10 years of coming here…unbelievable. Never going back and I would encourage others to find somewhere else to get their breakfast. Fortunately, there has been a resurgence of American diners nearby.

My husband and I order food from Emil Villa's now and then and their food is fantastic. It's one of the few places I can get generous portions of ham and the ribs are really good as well. You get a good meal for the price here and its always tasting fresh.

My wife and I had the lunch special which included two pork ribs choice of mashed potatoes or french fries and a garden salad. The food was delicious especially the pork ribs were fantastic!
Great food!!! Huge slices of beef on my French dip sandwich. Big slab of StLouis ribs to take home too!

Dry, dry, dry....After a long day of work, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the ribs, full platter, and 2 "pork sandwiches ? " OMG, the pork was SO dry, and the ribs were SO dry, like beef jerky. Note to the cook/Owner. Slow cook the pork, like all day SLOW simmer,.... I am not sure how you cook it? Terrible, and a waste of $.We will NEVER be back!!
