Been going here for years. Nice to see that they freshened up the place. Plenty of parking, pretty easy access off the road. Great burgers, most of the time the fries are nice and hot, in fact really hot That's the way I like them . The burgers are generous for the lettuce and tomato and there are plenty of condiments. You can get sodas or shakes or both. There are other locations around the East Bay, not as many as there used to, but they're all pretty much equally good including the two that are on MacArthur boulevard, one near High Street and one near fruitvale. All in all, one of my go-to burger places. Pro tip, have plenty of napkins ready or just bring your roll of paper towels that you keep in the car.

The hubs grew up here, and hasn’t been in 25+ years. He said nothing has changed, except the sidewalk (won’t slip & fall when it rains now). My first time trying, and let me say, IMO, it lived up to everything he said. Very fresh and VERY delicious! Every time we come to Oakland, it will be on my list! Great quality and quantity for the price. Double cheeseburger + fries and a bacon cheeseburger + cheese fries= $36ish

Such an awesome place to try! I passed it plenty of times on mission but I couldn't miss the large sign they have. The one downside is you hear the cars passing by constantly. Not everyone's cup o' tea but they make up for it with their food. It's gourmet. I had a cheeseburger with fries and my fiance had the chilli fries and I can't remember the burger he had. Fries are thicker than the thin fast food fries, which I liked. Food came out hot. Menu is next to the order window in large print and clear pricing. Looking at the menu does not disturb those who are ready to order. I believe there is a veggie burger so it can cater to veggetarians? I'd double chech their menu just to be sure it is there. There are 2 tables nearby to wait for your orders to be done. Ammicable service! We ate our food in the car.
