Katalina's Island Grill Reviews
I walked in to the restaurant and it was empty, no people so I immediately got skeptical. We’ll let me tell you the food is outstanding. I’m a kid that grew up in the Moana Loa area of Oahu. I haven’t had good Samoan, Tongan and Hawaiian food in a long time. Great friendly service with Island hospitality and a beautiful smile. Come visit this restaurant. It’s legit if your craving for some great Island food.
Awesome family type feeling. Island style. Just like home. Got to try the Otai.

Katalina's Island Grill is a restaurant that offers delicious Samoan, Tongan, and Hawaiian food. The service is friendly and welcoming, with a focus on Island hospitality. Customers particularly enjoy the kale moa, sipi, sapasui, and poly-style sipi tunu dishes. The taro is exceptionally soft, and the luau has the right amount of flavor, not being too salty.
While the otai and ota & lu need improvement, the food is generally well-received, with customers praising its authentic taste. The ambiance could be enhanced, and the restaurant might consider reviewing its hours of operation to ensure a more professional approach. Despite some areas for improvement, Katalina's Island Grill has the potential to become a popular poly kitchen in the area, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of grandma's kitchen.
