Bought a cheese pocket danish at AJ's in Scottsdale, AZ. Let the store and within 10-15 minutes split my rear molar in half. Called AJ's and spoke to the manager and asked me to save what I could he then said he would pass this on to legal and I would be getting a letter from them which twice now I didn't. After 5 days nobody from legal called so I called them at Bashas who owns AJ's and spoke with a risk manager who clearly stated I would have to contact the supplier which I thought was irresponsible considering it was an unwrapped pastry. So after a back and forth set of Email's from Corvel who represents Raly's and a gentleman who was the SR. Liability specialist he said he spoke to the owner Jonathan Lau and that he would be getting back to me. Well guess what...I've received nothing other than a broken tooth that need to be pulled all due to a cheese danish nobody wants to take responsibility for. This happened on a Saturday and immediately called a dentist that was open on April 22nd and the diagnosis was a fractured tooth. I am being the left over and what I was able to spit out to a lab to see if there are any particles left other than what was swallowed. I also have read other reviews with foreign objects in their baked goods. If all these folks seem like they can get away with passing the blame they've got the wrong guy. It's about time all the local media outlets are aware of my issue and others. I ended up calling Jonathan Lau on 05/05/2023 but got his Voice Mail. Is it going to take OSHA to go in a do a full inspection plus others. I'm fit to be tied over the horrible service of AJ's and Bashas in Arizona and Corvel plus Rally's. Not one other than CorVel was remotely proactive.I wonder if the Arizona community knows who actually bakes AJ's pastries I was under the impression they did considering how high end they claim to be.If anybody has had similar issues I'd like to hear about them. I'm sure this is not isolated.

I have been working for a company for 10yrs that uses Le Chef wholesaler for our Bakery. I can honestly say that 75% of their products are Excellent. But the other 25% is Horrible. The biggest issue in is the Blueberry muffin batter, Cranberry Trio,Lemon and Original Bran but Mostly the Blueberry. It is so thin and runny that it just goes flat instead of rising. It completely destroyes the Oven because it just melts and drips out Everywhere. So then the Baker stop and clean and scrape the shelves and bottom oven which takes 8-10 mins., without getting burned. It really Sucks when we're Busy. We use 3-6 buckets of Blueberry a day for our stores orders. I know that it's not properly made bc we actually get the product in that's good and the muffins come out Beautiful .. Which shows me that someone is not doing their job and nobody really cares. So they get to Slack off, Le Chef continues to sell the product. We have to deal with a very bad product. And my Employer gets to pay good money only to get complaints and returns because the muffins suck. But again, when everyone does their job properly the finished product is Amazingly Beautiful and Tasty. Please fix this problem of incompetent employees Thank you

You can not shop here unless you have a wholesale account so this review is probably not applicable to most. The products are of professional quality however their prices have been slowly increasing over the years, which now many of the items are not worth the value. The macarons are a great value and super yummy ... however the individual desserts I believe are overpriced. Bread and breakfast items are great but not much different than you can find these days at Smart n Final, etc. Overall it is a great bulk value if you have an account there. Limited hours and you need to call several days in advance for many items such as the bars. Taste gets a AA++, convenience a C and customer service not raving -- they are brash and not overly friendly.

Everything they sell is amazing. I love all of their pastries. I also like that they've added sugar free pastries as well. This is my go to place whenever in need of desserts.

Worst customer service ever. I contacted SALPI the first time and it took over two weeks for her to contact me and this was only because I called customer service to let them know that no one ever responded to me after I was told she was the person to contact if I wanted to open an account. When she finally contacted me she just gave me a lame excuse as to why she didn't respond. I was finally able to order samples. The samples where great . So then when I was ready to place an order I contacted her again. I emailed her 3 times within 2 weeks. I gave up, its too bad because I'm sure your company has lost many potential customers because of your employees. SALPI in no good for your company if you care about customer service.

Decided to check this place out over Arsicault Bakery since I heard a tip that the original owner of it left. B Patisserie did not disappoint! PARKING: Street parking. We Ubered there! AMBIENCE: Brightly lit, marble counter tops with the pastries on display in a nice long row. All you can ask for in a bakery cafe. PRICING: Prices seem pretty fair for quality baked goods. Most pastries are about $4-5 each. FOOD: We ordered the CHOCOLATE KOUIGN-AMANN, which was by far our favorite, which isn't a surprise as it's one of their most popular items. This was my first time having a kouign-amann but it's essentially a caramelized croissant. Sugary, crispy, flaky and BUTTERY goodness. It honestly didn't even need the chocolate. The HAM & CHEESE CROISSANT was also a great savory, tasty pastry. I've never had a ham & cheese croissant like this one, since the cheese seems to be baked on top, but even with that it still manages to hold that crispiness to it. Amazing. The last thing we got was a slice of their VEGGIE QUICHE. I didn't expect it to be cold so that was kind of off-putting, but the flavor was delicious nonetheless. SERVICE: Very friendly and efficient! Even though there was a line forming when we got there during the late morning, they move it along pretty quickly. The only issue is finding seating, so be prepared to just take it to go.

Since going to Brittany, France - the place of origin of the Kouign Amann - over two years ago, I was craving that cakey, croissant-like goodness unique to the Kouign Amann. B Patisserie did not disappoint! When I first arrived, I was a little overwhelmed by the line that poured out the door, but it actually moved really quickly and in less than 10 minutes I ordered, paid at the register, and left with a box of fresh pastries. The three Kouign Amanns - original, coconut pineapple, and chocolate - were all delicious. I didn't like how the dark chocolate filling was a bit heavy and all in the middle rather than consistently filling the shape like a chocolate croissant, but I guess the shape of the pastry would make that difficult to achieve. The other two were much more consistent in deliciousness. I was a little skeptical about the chocolate banana croissant, since it didn't look too aesthetically pleasing and that flavor combination seemed more suited for pancakes rather than something as "delicate" as a croissant. It was actually delicious! It was like a crunchy, buttery banana chocolate pancake.

I treated my friend to lunch at BPatesserie this week. The food was good though I find it overpriced. As I was leaving I purchased a chocolate chip cookie to take home. Once I got home I had a couple of bites and it tasted"off"as if the dough was mixed in a bowl that had garlic in it and was not washed properly or perhaps the utensil used to stir. I called the bakery immediately and spoke with one of the owners,a man who immediately challenged me in a very angry manner implying that I was "scamming" for a free cookie. I have gone to this establishment since they opened. This kind of a response over a 3 dollar item was absurd and bad for business. I also noticed that the people working are not as hygienic as they should be.Reusing a dirty cloth to clean tables is not acceptable. An 89 out of 100 health score is not acceptable.

After getting brunch, my friends and I decided that we had to go to a second food stop because it was the end of spring break and we deserved a little something extra. We decided on B. Patisserie among the many dessert and sweet options and it was the right decision. We got to try a little bit of everything which I really enjoyed because last time I came with only one other friend and we only had room in our stomachs for two items. Food: - Chocolate Banana Almond Croissant--$4.50 My favorite item we tried because it was still warm and freshly baked! There were actual slices of banana inside which I was so surprised and delighted about when I bit into it. Since it was still freshly baked, the banana slices were warm and creamy, and the chocolate inside was melted and gooey. This went so well with the flaky and buttery croissant. - Pineapple Coconut Kouign Amann--$4.75 All of B. Patisserie's kouign amanns are so buttery and flaky and this was no exception. The bit of pineapple filling inside was sweet and sticky and was a refreshing addition to the delicate pastry. - Chocolate Kouign Amann--$4.75 Lots of gooey decadent chocolate in this kouign amann made the delicious pastry on its own even better. - Passionfruit Bostock--$3.50 This bostock had a fluffy tender crumb and was moist and soft. The passionfruit added sweetness and the little bits of almonds on top added a nice crunch. The bottom was slightly caramelized and hardened from crystallized sugar, which was satisfying to eat. Tips: - We arrived around 2:30 pm and there was still a great selection of kouign amanns, croissants, and other pastries! They were constantly bringing out more trays of goods to add to the trays in the display, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about things running out. - There is usually a long line but it moves pretty quickly.

Was looking for a good pastry shop for my early morning in SF. Don't look any further because B Patisserie perfected it all around! Line was out the door as I showed up at 8:05AM but moved very quickly, their system helps expedite lines. I only waited maybe 5 minutes. Everyone is very happy to be working there and constantly smiling when serving you, really helps put a smile on your face even if you're having a bad morning. As you enter you're greeted by the amazing smell of some very amazing pastries and coffee. The perfect start to anyone's morning. The selection of pastries includes something for everyone! Personally I ordered the Madeline cookies, the chocolate croissant, chocolate banana almond croissant, original and chocolate kouign Amann, and a hot chocolate. Everything was amazing and it was my first time trying a kouign Amann, and I wish I had ordered more. An amazing pastry with a flakey outside and soft doughy inside.

Lovely coffee shop/bakery with a lot of seating room. We got the chocolate chip cookie (5/5 - warm, crispy on the edges, gooey in the centre and absolutely massive!), and the banana almond croissant (also 5/5 - ingenious idea, novel taste, well executed). I would definitely come back to try more of their pastries. The only thing that was not a 5/5 experience here was the service. They lack attention to detail which detracts from the experience. (They gave me 3 items to carry to a table plus told me I can pour my own water but didn't give me a tray and there were no napkins in sight).
