I had high expectations dining at Lemon Crab, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing due to the service.
Our server, an Asian woman wearing glasses, was extremely rude from the start. My boyfriend asked a very simple and reasonable question regarding the spice level of a dish, and instead of answering politely or explaining the options, she responded with a condescending tone and showed clear impatience. There was no effort to be helpful, clarify, or make us feel welcome—just unnecessary attitude.
Good service is about communication and patience, especially when guests are asking about food preferences. The dismissive behavior made the dining experience uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable meal. We felt rushed and hesitant to ask any follow-up questions because of her attitude.
Customer service is just as important as the food, and unfortunately this experience fell short in that area. I hope management addresses this, as respectful and courteous service goes a long way in creating a positive dining experience.
This little restaurant offers some of the best shrimp and lobster po' boys in all of California. It's small, but quaint. The staff is ready to assist you as you enter; some will even open the door for you. I've always had a pleasant experience there.

Lemon Crab is a small spot with very limited seating, but we still managed to get a seat without too much trouble. Even with the tight space, the experience was well worth it.
The customer service truly went above and beyond. The staff was incredibly attentive and even helped a guest sitting next to us by cracking and peeling their lobster and crab for them, which was really impressive to see and speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers.
When we visited, they were running a buy one, get one free deal on whole lobster, which is an incredible deal and hard to beat. The seafood was fresh and satisfying. Their house lemon crab sauce for the crab boil was good, but I have to give a shout-out to Backyard Bayou in Union City — in my opinion, their house sauce has a bit more flavor.
And I have to mention the garlic noodles — they are absolutely to die for and a must-order.
Overall, this is a great seafood boil spot with solid food and outstanding service. Just be warned that seating is limited, but they do offer takeout options if you don’t want to wait. Definitely worth checking out.

The food was delicious! This is family owned, and as customers where coming in workers where trying to sit and eat. They were getting upset and rolling their eyes because customers kept coming in. This location is very small 7 tables only. Trust that I will be returning because the food is worth it.

I recently ordered fried rice from Lemon Crab and was shocked at the customer service. After spending my money here, I asked for a small amount of hot sauce, and they flat-out refused to give me any and stated that they don’t have any hot sauce. I’ve never been to a place that serves food without basic condiments or treats customers like they’re asking for a luxury item.

Great food
I love Cajun seafood boils. I have not been able to find a good one until now. What I love about this place is the SAUCE. If you want it spicy, they actually deliver a decent amount of heat. And the sauce isn’t sweet. Some Cajun boil places make their sauce wayyy too sweet, and their spicy is a lie. For me, Lemon Crab has a sauce that has a good balance. They also have a variety of food. Not gonna lie, I’ve mainly had their Cajun boil and fried food. It hits the spot. My only critique is that sometimes the sauce and Cajun fries can be a little too salty for my taste. They don’t have a lot of tables, so sometimes there is a wait.
