I was so sad when I saw they were closed and under new management after I drove from San Francisco to get tamales. My favorite tamales place is gone, but not forgotten. Your tamales will always be what I'll use to compare other tamales. I hope the new places will have tamales that will just be as good.

This is the only legit place in Hayward for tamales, you guys!!! Plenty of taquerias everywhere, but noone else really makes tamales, hers are always delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Masa not too thick, either. New business hours are 8:00am-12:00noon daily due to the owner having to get a new job and she can no longer find line cooks so she has to do all the prep work for the tamales herself. Call ahead for pickups or get there by 11:30am They are worth it!

The steak tacos are really good however the tamales aren't. I've tried chicken and pork and they were both really dry to me.

The tamale lunch plate is really good! Really good beans. Everything else is okay, worth checking out

Very nice lady. Burrito size good. Taste not good. No buy again. No flavor. 80/20 rice to meat. But again nice lady and fast pickup.

It's really easy to miss Mis Tamales Factory Tamaleria since it's tucked in a plaza off the main street, but the food really speaks for itself and is worth a try. I've had the bean and cheese pupusa, cheese and jalapeno tamale, and carne asada burrito and I loved it all! The cheese and jalapeno tamale is my favorite because it's tasty, moist (not dry) and it even sits well to reheat the next day. The dine in tables are closed at the moment so take out is your best bet.

Great food! Affordable street tacos and the pastor is great. Lunch special for $7 is awesome. Both styles of tamale are delicious.

They are good tamales if you like central American tamales.

This is a hidden tamaleria in Hayward amongst a neighborhood. It's a small storefront with a few seats outside. It's best to do take out and go. It did take a bit for the food to come out, mainly because there were only two people working. Order: -Maduro, Queso y Gallo Pinto- This was one of the better dishes. I enjoyed the fried cheese. The meat was a bit tough, but had good flavor and seasoned well. I thought the gallo pinto was okay, but made better with the maduro. -Tamales (one of each)- This was mediocre to me. In my opinion it tasted a bit old. I don't think it was warmed up completely in the middle so the flavor might not have been accurate. They all tasted similar, but the chicken was slightly better than the pork -Pupusas (one of each)- Pretty solid. The pupusas came out fresh and hot. The flavors were really there and definitely the win from this meal. It was chewy and cheesy. -Tacos- I'd pass on these. The tortillas were dry and the meat was okay. The flavors were okay. I would go elsewhere for tacos. tl;dr- get the pupusas, pass on the tacos

I have been wanting tamales, so I decided to try Mis Tamales after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Got the chicken tamales and the were very good. I will be going back to try the pork tamales, cheese and jalapeño tamales.

Got the tamale lunch plate. Next time I'll just get the tamales by itself. Rice and beans are not good to me at all. Tamales are decent. I think I like the pork ones more than chicken.
