Feels like a great spot for HH after work! Their drinks were good, especially for the price. Plenty of seating and spots to stand, TVs with the game on, and a vendor with food on the side.
Unfortunately for me, I brought my computer on a Friday to get some work done. The music was a tad loud for me, so beware that it's not a spot to work. More of a place to hang out and enjoy a drink!

A Hidden Gem in Hayward offers a unique and inviting atmosphere with delicious handcrafted cocktails and a friendly crowd. Enjoy the lively dancing ambience and meet new people in this cozy spot. The lounge downstairs is interesting but IDK if its worth paying extra for it. But the back deck and the dance floor are definitely great. People seemed approachable.
Vegetarian options: There were decent about of vegetarian options. I got fries and jalapeno poppers
Parking: There is a parking garage less than a block away and it's free so pretty convenient place
I really enjoyed how fast, hot, and fresh the food was, as well as the decor and space. Parking is very easy and the bartenders were friendly too, and they made very good drinks consistently. However, the music was a little dated and all over the place; went from old school hip hop to Katy Perry, among other strange and off putting mixes. The dance floor was filled with creepers taking random videos of woman's asses while dancing, making things very uncomfortable. Finally, their security is below acceptable standards for safety, as I know of 2 individuals who were able to come in with knives unchecked. Who knows what kind of other suspicious characters will be able to hide and get away with bringing in dangerous weapons. I have been there twice and will not be returning.

I was ordered to leave a copy of my I.D. by a shady security guard. Your run-down hole in the wall isn't worth it. I just avoid Hayward. It's full of rats.

This review is for Lorenzo the bartender who sprayed my date in the face with water and then laughed about it.
Met a date here around 6pm and there were about 3 other people at the bar. When we sat the bartender didn’t greet us even after making eye contact with us. Eventually we were served drinks but didn’t get much more info out of him like how to order food or if they had a menu until we asked.
I ran to my car for something & when I returned, I was very confused to find my date with a wet face. She tells me that she asked him if she could order food from him and he looked at her as if he was annoyed and pressed a glass down on the sprayer sideways and it went straight at her, almost as if it was on purpose. There was a gentleman defending my date because apparently the bartender didn’t even say he was sorry, he just laughed. To make matters worse, I had to tell him to apologize & to comp our tab to which he said “well you didn’t get sprayed in the face and it was an accident”. Dude was stoned and didn’t give a damn at all that he just ruined our date…

I'm giving 2 stars for the service at the bar. Unfortunately, the owner seems to be prioritizing costs over customer experience by only having one bartender during less busy hours. This means that when there are around 20 people, one bartender simply can't keep up. In my opinion, there should always be at least two bartenders on duty, regardless of how busy it is. When the bar is busy, it's almost impossible to get a drink, and even then, there are often only two bartenders serving. This needs to be addressed to improve the overall experience.
