We were promptly greeted, seated and our server was quick to welcome us. Our food was served in a reasonable amount of time and the server checked to see all was well. Though the food was delicious as it always is when we have eaten at Barndiva, we felt the pricing was too high for the amount of food received. The Bucatini Pasta portion was exceptionally small despite the large plate.
This was our first time dining at Barndiva in this newer format. The original Barndiva used to be my favorite restaurant and I have missed it greatly. I'm still not sure why they switched from the pretty side of the restaurant to the current side. The outside garden is very nice, much nicer than sitting inside. We love Barndiva, it's been one of our favorites for years. Love the ambiance, service is always impeccable. The goat cheese croquettes are amazing (worth going there for on their own). Spouse enjoyed the hamburger, but fries were a bit mixed (some slightly soggy and some crisp). I ordered the bucatini, which was over-seasoned with garlic. They're always good about accommodating individual tastes though, if possible, so next time will ask beforehand if the garlic can...
