**Review of Rocking K**
This was my first dinner visit, on a Thursday night at 5 p.m. The restaurant was almost empty, and the service was substandard. The menu offered only one chicken dish—chicken with rice. No baked beans were available. The rolls were small cornbread muffins that I found unappetizing. The steak I ordered was good, but the side dishes were marginal.
I'm new to town and have been working full-time, in-home care for my parents. I had a rare opportunity to sneak out for a while. After a brief search of nearby restaurants, I saw that Rockin' K Ranch
The food was amazing. The pies were amazing. I had a coconut creme pie and it was so soft and decadent. My grandfather had the Dutch apple pie with ice cream and it was warm and gooey, perfectly seasoned, and delightful. I had the San Fransisco burger and it was cooked to perfection. My grandfather had the patty melt and it was delicious. 5/5 stars.
The interior has a ranch theme and feels very cozy and comforting.
