Genki House Japanese Restaurant

I come twice a month. This place is my go to for Japanese comfort food. I love the gyudon just the way they prepped it. Saucy, sweet and savory just like I remember from childhood in Asia. Sushi and sashimi are fresh (enough). Bento is reasonably priced. Atmosphere is good. Not pretentious like some of the Japanese restaurants in this area. They actually play Japanese tunes.

A wonderful small, warm, intimate, comfortable and welcoming place. Japanese family own and operated. The food is very fresh. The rice of the sushi is Japanese, warm and tasty. The rolls are of as high quality as more fancy places. Calm music, gentle and attentive service. The house sake is excellent. Very fair prices. I like to go every week since I discovered it in November.

I really like this small neighborhood restaurant. The food is pretty good. The staff are very nice and friendly. It is very nice to have a decent neighborhood sushi restaurant 5 minutes from my house!

We ordered plenty of food and appetizers, but the beef teriyaki was bad, it taste and smelled old We couldn't eat it . It made my wife and daughter sick to their stomach, so I ate something else. They should throw out their old food instead of serving it to customers.

This is such an awesome little gem of a sushi restaurant. They have an amazing 10-piece sashimi deal for $19 And their ginger is quite possibly the best I've ever had. Next on my list to try at their restaurant is their salmon kama and hamachi kama.

Not too fresh, the taste is average, and the price is okay. The service attitude is okay. (My family had diarrhea after eating)
