Chef Melbas Bistro is a favorite for us for fine dining in the #southbay excellent food and fresh ideas and she uses her own garden resources. Highly recommend it!
This is by far the best restaurant in the South Bay. Chef Melba is an experienced, gifted chef, grounded in tradition, with creative flair. She makes a specialty of fresh fish and flavorful appetizers. Everything on the menu is outstanding, including whole branzino, chicken picatta, and pibil adobo lamb shank. There's even a superlative fish and chips lightly breaded and made with wild Alaskan cod.
