Expensive, more so than most spots in SF....$10.38 for a pint of their own stuff *before* they ask for a tip, for pouring a beer

This was our first time at Mad Pursuit and it was good. We each had a beer, I had The Gold Standard, which was good but a bit hoppier than I expected, and my husband had Hoppy Ending which he really liked. We also ordered food. I had a margarita pizza and he had a tri tip sandwich. The pizza had a thin crust and lots of cheese. It was yummy. The sandwich had a smoky flavor and the meat tasted good, but there wasn't quite enough meat on it. I don't eat beef or pork, so...

Awesome service. The guys at the counter were friendly. We must look like out-of-town folks because they asked about where we are from. Very warm and welcoming.
