I went from always wanting to try this place to having both lunch and dinner here while spending the day in HB. Really liked it and will definitely visit again. Beautiful view of the pier/beach/strip, conveniently located, cute outdoor patio (though unfortunately the patio does not have a view of the pier). The food and service were delicious and wonderful! Very positive, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and the HB area in general. It gives nice but non pretentious vibes....
It's always a great experience at Bluegold. I had the Lychee Sour cocktail to kick things off and it was delicious. Of course, we had to have the milk rolls because they are the perfect balance of savory and sweet. I had the filet mignon, Vietnamese style and it melted in my mouth. My husband had the sea bass and he loved it. Our server was very patient, personable and just plain delightful. We had a great night.
Bluegold is always a favorite. One of the best in the Huntington Beach area. Our midweek experience was a little subpar compared to previous visits. Very slow, inattentive service and less varied menu than seen previously. But still would highly recommend.
