Been coming to Jan’s for years. Love the remodel!! There are now places to sit and enjoy the best veggie sandwich of your life! The sprouts and the freshest of bread. A wonderful affordable healthy stop on Main Street in HB.
I'm sitting outside of Jan's writing this after two days of lunch here. I LOVE this place! I moved away from HB but come here every visit. I used to eat here when it was just a window in a surf shop. Their food is fresh, tasty, healthy, and comforting! The people are very cool! Their fruit bowl actually tastes like each individual fruit and, again, is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend Jan's!!
I had Jan's Health Bar for the first time back in June & enjoyed it overall! I'm on a strict gluten free diet due to Celiac disease so it can be hard to find good & safe places to eat. Jan's has a sign at the cash register stating that they're not allergen friendly. They have gluten free bread & other ways to make their meals gluten free, but they don't always take precautions.
