Mario's Mexican Food was very good. We were looking for Mexican food nearby and found Mario's. We had fresh chips and spicy salsa, enchiladas, rice and beans. All the food was very tasty. Our service was quick and the waitress was nice and friendly.

Food & music was great, but whoever is running the bar, I believe his name is Manuel, is horrible! We were there for lunch time, rarely any tables occupied in the bar & he only came around our table 1 time. Didn’t ask for refills or if we needed anything else. He was so focused on other people, tried to get his attention at some point and he completely ignores me. Horrible, I hope we never get the same bartender, he made this experience horrible!!

I went for my first time, to Mario or to a Mexican Restaurant,. not knowing what to expect, it was great. our service, treated us with kindness and suggested what to eat, the good was delicious, I had there chicken Quesadilla, it was packed. I took some home. The place was packed, it was a Tuesday we just came from the street fair. But we didn't wait long for the food. I highly suggest everyone try this place. I don't drink so just had sprite. But everyone has having a blast. I will try them again.

Huntington Beach staple! Best margaritas and guacamole around.

Vegetarian options: The sizzling vegetable fajitas are great, you can request to add mushrooms if you like!

From the outside the place seemed small, but inside it is spacious, with Mexican decoration, and the food was good, the plate of 3 friends can easily be shared between 2 people. They have happy hour until 7pm with good prices!

Been coming here for a while and I recently came for my birthday dinner. My boyfriend & my family love this place! The lights are dim and their food is well cooked and delicious! This is a perfect spot for a date as well. It’s a bit loud when it gets busy, but it overall is really an awesome place yay!

The food here is what the local white patrons thought mexican food is in the 1990’s. It’s plain and dated.

Prices are ok. Whomever is giving this 5 stars is being paid or needs help.

Good place to get a beer. But the Salsa is basically Pato enchilada sauce with some mediocre chips.

I really miss my beloved Mario's, another California location that will never be in Springfield unfortunately it was nice to stop by and enjoy the food and drinks

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options for you just have to ask the right questions

Dietary restrictions: Sorry you don't come to Mario's looking for a diet food. But they do have some delicious options including shrimp fajitas steak fajitas and chicken fajitas

Parking: Parking can be tricky at busy hours but most of the time there's no problem

Recommended dishes: Tortillas Chips and Salsa, Tres Amigos Fajitas with Rice AMD Beans, Taco

Look. As long standing staple of HB its just not that great anymore. I have to take stars away for the nickel and diming of all the garnishes. They charged $2.75 for a small cup of pico de gallo. For that price it should be coming in a dish with an appropriately portion to price ratio. Not the size of what you would put some butter in. And $2.50 for the same size for sour cream..That's insane. The rice was over salted. The $20 piece of carne asada was so thin and over cooked with so much salt. My grandma's food came with a taco. I've never seen such a sad taco. It had absolutely nothing on it but meat. And when asked the waiter said oh it because we give you more meat. Ok, more meat with no flavor. It took way to long for the waiter to check in on us. Never came back to ask for refills on drinks. But who could blame him, in the few minutes we were seated they gave him 5 tables back to back. Not sure if we were here on just a bad day, every place has one. Or if the food has just gotten that bad. Definitely won't be back here anytime soon, if ever.
