Ry’s Poke Shack Huntington Beach

Honestly this place was pretty average to any other poke spot and after seeing the hype on social media apps, I decided to try it and it was pretty mid. Don’t get me wrong. The food was actually pretty good but for $26 I was not expecting such a small size. I got the California flavored salmon, and it was mostly crab and other additives and there was only maybe like five cubes of salmon. Everything other than the fish had already came with was extra, which I was not expecting since most places don’t charge extra for toppings so I had to pay almost 2 dollars for a small scoop of imitation crab. Other than that, the servers were really nice and our food came out relatively fast. I do recommend another place that’s down the street called Nori poke, It is half the price and the bowls are just as good and big.

Transportational.... a step inside takes you back to Hawaii, the people are friendly. The food is amazing, and the vibe is just like being on the island.

Man , not worth the hype. Ive had way better authentic Hawaiian poke from other spots. Portion size is ridiculous for the price, lacked flaver and rice was undercooked. Definitely a let down. My coworker and I couldn't stop laughing at how small the portion was.

Ry poke is great. Hands down the best poke in mainland. But it has long lines on weekend s. Best to go right at opening. Even after ordering you still have to wait like 15 to 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I wish they have scaled up and have online ording for pickup.

Absolutely best poke! Ryan and his family bring the Aloha spirit and their love of fresh poke to every dish. Just as good as I remember in Oahu! Definitely will be sharing this new location with all my friends who haven’t had a chance to visit the original on Oahu!

Amazing poke. They’re originally from the north shore of Oahu and it shows. Very good quality fish and the house made sauces are what make it. Get the hot shoyu. Also the customer service was top notch - I felt the aloha immediately upon stepping jn.

Big fan of poke bowls and this place did not disappoint. Got the 2-choice bowl with ahi and salmon, topped with dragon spicy sauce and Hawaiian seaweed, loved the mix of flavors and the nice spicy kick. Definitely coming back for this one.

If you're in the area this place is popping and pretty good. It's small inside so if you can find another place to eat without because a nuisance that's your best bet. Plus, they don't have time to clean off the tables you should and have to do that yourself.

I wish they would label the boxes with something. Anything to help us figure out who's order is who's. I mean aside from obviously identifying the fish. We had to go back and ask a few times which bowl was which. Good food because the poke is marinated and not like those subway style places where they mix it in front of you. Not saying those places are bad. Just a different prep style.

It's mostly paid parking in this area.

This is hands down the best Poke I have ever had! Flavor was so good! The place was very cool inside! It gets really busy, but the wait times aren't that bad. 1000% recommend! Wish we lived closer to get every week! Thank you guys!
