We walked in to the store purely to just gain some knowledge to buy the right wetsuit when we returned to Santa Cruz. However Owen was so knowledgeable and helpful we bought my suit there…. With booties and a couple of sweatshirts for the grand kids. Jack’s is lucky to have a salesperson like Owen; we never received this type of knowledgeable, friendly service at the many surf shops in Santa Cruz….. even though we were the first Surf City USA!!! 😁
The team here is incredibly warm and welcoming, and I honestly don't know where to start! I picked up a board and a few other items from this store, and Tate and Cari immediately stepped in with big smiles to help me out. They showed me exactly how to put on the pad and fins, and even how to tie the string to the board. Because of wonderful people like them, I’ll definitely be returning and giving Jack’s my business every time!
We rented a Surrey bike from them as a walk up. We had our three daughters with us and they were very accommodating. Even gave our girls a special treat! Our two youngest had a blast waving and saying hi to everyone on the boardwalk. Great way to spend 1hr enjoying the weather, beach and family bonding.
