They usually have ok food, I've had their burgers and onion rings, and the onion rings were seasoned well. I have gotten their chicken plate and the reibeye, I believe, but their ribeye plate was not great at all. The chicken plate is a hit and miss. There are too many carbs, not enough protein, and sometimes overly dry. The cost has gone up pretty significantly, and I understand everything in California has gone up since 2020.
The best menudo

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, dine in, couple families inside, employees were friendly π, had a steak sandwich, chillie fries and cornbread muffin, all was good, no complaints, all was fresh, the meat in sandwich was good compared to many commercial places, will definitely be back to try and Angus burger and some pancakes. I'm always looking for a good mom n pop type place and John's drive in did not disappoint, I'm keeping it on my list of places for a quick bite π.
I bought a cheeseburger special there and I didn't eat the burger until early morning coming to eat the burger in the morning I cut it in half and the meat is raw I mentioned to the staff and they just turned me away told me to get my number to them so they can have the manager call me I'll never come to this place again it's low budget I don't know how Huntington Park police can eat there but then again they're corrupt probably just like this hamburger stand

Amazing food, phenomenal weekday specials. Biggest burgers with the thickest patties around. Chili cheese fries are delicious. Not that sweet chili either! You won't be disappointed. Haven't had the Mexican food yet, but if It's good, I'm afraid I won't be going to El Ranchito's across the street anymore! Haha!

I asked for easy on the chili... And got CHARGED 50 cents to remove food?
Should I go back and ask for the rest of my chili on the side and get my 50 cents back?
I'm in disbelief!!!?!!? How does this happen?

Letβs just say it was very disappointing. We ordered some large cheese fires and the box was nearly empty for $10 not including tax. This was our first time ordering here and we will definitely not be returning to this establishment.

My burger was not seasoned, the meat was burnt. Could taste burnt patty with each bite. Fries were not seasoned at all, Would not recommend!
