They usually have ok food, I've had their burgers and onion rings, and the onion rings were seasoned well. I have gotten their chicken plate and the reibeye, I believe, but their ribeye plate was not great at all. The chicken plate is a hit and miss. There are too many carbs, not enough protein, and sometimes overly dry. The cost has gone up pretty significantly, and I understand everything in California has gone up since 2020.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, dine in, couple families inside, employees were friendly 👍, had a steak sandwich, chillie fries and cornbread muffin, all was good, no complaints, all was fresh, the meat in sandwich was good compared to many commercial places, will definitely be back to try and Angus burger and some pancakes. I'm always looking for a good mom n pop type place and John's drive in did not disappoint, I'm keeping it on my list of places for a...

I've also had the Grande Breakfast and Club sandwich plate many times over the years and they are also very good, I really enjoy the coffee it's flavor is very bold
