“This is a food truk. Gopate the gas station. The food was great and the servings plentiful. We pulled over to fix our tarp covering the bed of the truck. The taco truck was there. We will look for it on our way home!

The Pizzas Have Endless Options In Crusts, (from Stuffed Crust, Gluten Free, Cauliflower Etc) Multiple Sauces & Toppings. Pizzas Were Perfectly Baked w/ Fresh Dough, Toppings & Sauce! Everything from Calzones, Chicken Wings, Pastas & My New Favorite,Their Fried Green Beans! The Sub Sandwich/Hoagies Are Huge & the Bread Tastes Fresh & Chewy While Still Being Able To Stand Up To All The Many Fresh Toppings! “This is a great stop for travelers who are looking for a quick bite to eat and are passing through. El Rancho Café is located next to the post office at the four way stop for Mount Whitney and the 145. It is family owned. The people are friendly and the food was delicious. In the time I was there people were coming and going. They have both sit-down dining and takeout available. Weekend travelers beware: they are only open M-F from 7-2:30.“

“Lunch was soooo delicious!!!! The Chuckwagon soup is a go to everytime we come here. I had the grilled flank steak with pistachio and basil pesto. Let me tell you, I can't wait to have it again. All the flavors were robust and complimented one another perfectly. I love balsamic glaze, and the chef was generous while topping my dish. The service was wonderful and quick. Our drinks were never empty either. Overall, it was a great experience.“

There’s a hard working lady in there who commutes an hour away to work at the restaurant to provide for her family. They barely get any business so if you’re stopping by this area to refuel, please support their business!“
