I stopped by this restaurant because their online menu looked interesting. I had the plant based sandwich and it was amazing 10 out of 10 it had such rich flavor. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but the customers service was overwhelmingly bad. I would have put 1 star but the guy with the tattoos and the beard saved the experience with his kindness, something lacking form the other two employees. There are lots of small town restaurants around the U.S. and we've been to plenty of them. This place ranks right up there at the top of the list.The staff was terrific and friendly, but the food was really something special. We had the Eggs Benedict which was substantially better than what we've been served at some expensive breakfast restaurants. Stevie and Jen are the real deal. First and foremost, they care about the quality of the food served to customers. And do they deliver on that promise. Everything on the menu is first rate. If you live or travel to Idyllwild, make this your first stop....
