Loved the shaved ice at Cow-A-Bunga! Great place to relax and cool down on the beautiful Imperial Beach pier. The staff were all nice and very quick. If you go here you will definitely have a good day.
Excellent ice cream for the money, and good selections of sweets for the size of the place right next to the pier.
Me and my family absolutely loved it. After we ate it, my kids kept asking me for more ice cream nonstop😄! I loved the crunchy cone, and the pineapple and coconut flavor tasted so fresh! Definitely going to come here every weekend.
Great quality ice cream with huge portions for a reasonable price in a perfect setting on the pier. What more could you want?
IB doesn't have a Hodads that's worth waiting in line, but we have Cowabunga and their ice cream is so good and goes great with a little walk on the pier, but if you don't want to walk, there are plenty of places to sit down and enjoy. Worth the wait in line which usually goes by fast. Also, great service!
Me and my family love visiting this place. Although it is a small place, it has everything from snow, breads, coffee, hot chocolate. I recommend them
Interesting. Let's keep visiting the harbor one day with an legit I.B. expert that could give me a tour to stake out from one end to the other end. Haven't visited since 2015.

Great spot to get an ice cream in Imperial Beach! Next to the ocean, a beautiful beach, a pier and a park. House special is very good and has ice cream of your choice, coffee, chocolate, whipping cream and coffee beans. While the ice cream is good, it is not amazing - so 4 stars.
