I had dinner here with my son, who recently moved to the area. Love the warm atmosphere, charmingly antiquated having been around for 60 years, with hand painted murals and chianti bottles on the tables. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly and wonderful. I had a pesto and shrimp pasta (delicious) which was a hefty portion and came with a green salad and garlic bread, all for under $20. It'll definitely be our go-to place in a street full of chains.

The food was very tasty and well portioned. The service was top notch. They welcomed my family in even after hours when they were already closed! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Imperial Beach.

We didn’t realize the time and got there really close to closing. Not only did they still serve us but they treated us with such kindness and made sure we didn’t feel rushed. Told us to stay as long as we wanted even though we knew they were ready to go home for the night. There was a young lady and I apologize she said her name but I don’t recall.
