This is an amazing Donut stand on the way in and out of Coronado on hwy 75 in Imperial Beach. Cinnamon rolls are to die for and old fashioned chocolate is a time machine back to when I was a kid.
You go for the donuts and nothing else :) . They are amazing. I read many reviews on the terrible customer service. My unbiased opinion is the owner is friendly enough, but won't win any awards for outstanding customer services. Get there early otherwise, you'll miss out.

First time I've been here, bought 1/2 dozen. There's only one person working there in the morning (didn't see anyone else) he was friendly, but quaint. The donuts were pretty tasty, and for those saying the cinnamon rolls aren't that good, There's a difference between cinnamon rolls and cinnamon Buns (buns are sold here, not rolls) so, they're pretty good.
Maybe getting someone to help out in front to make for a more streamline process...
