Our first time to dine at Coral Sushi. Service was excellent. We ordered Gyoza, and chicken wings for appetizers, very good. The fried rice with Kimchi was delicious but the Coachella Roll was a disappointment . It was bland, we couldn't taste the tempura shrimp, fish on top was dry , and it needed a sauce. We decided we would go back but we would not order the rolls. And To be fair we only tried one. The atmosphere was fine. It was Friday and very crowded. We over heard every word of the conversation next to us, as booth seating is very close to each other. I would suggest try for yourself. We will go again.

I was very excited to try this restaurant, even though reviews have been mixed. My husband and I, along with two other couples, had a reservation on a Saturday at 5:00 pm. It was empty with exception of maybe two tables. It was bright (almost too bright as sun was in our eyes) and appeared clean, but nothing fancy or remarkable. They do not serve liquor. Only beer and pretty good list of wine. One beer that was ordered came out not cold. We did ask for three separate checks up front. The server, Sylvia, seemed pretty attentive at first, but that did not last long. We had to ask for everything at least twice. After a little too long of a wait, one entree was brought out. Korean BBQ Beef Skewers. After another seemingly long wait, one persons Rainbow Roll came out. Upon looking around the restaurant, most tables were full AND had already gotten all of their food. We asked the server that brought the Rainbow Roll if it was going to take as long for the remaining food to come out. He gave some explanation about having a kitchen and the Sushi Bar? Two bowls finally came out, but my husband and I were still waiting for our sushi order. By this time, our friend who was served first was finished with his meal. We flagged our server numerous times for water, extra sauce, etc. and to question where the rest of the food was. She did not offer any explanation. Finally, one Philly Roll came, but we asked for tuna instead of salmon. It was salmon. She took it back and return a bit later and put it in the middle of the table like she was doing us a favor. Finally, the three items we ordered came out slowly, one by one. Everyone was about finished at this point. One of our rolls had the purple rice. It wasn't too bad on the Salmon Skin Roll, one person ordered another roll after we received our order and it came with the purple rice (which does clearly state on the menu). It did not go with the Spicy Tuna Roll. I would not recommend the purple rice. Very disappointing overall.

Such a fun spot for date night! Excellent food and staff went above and beyond to make it a great dinner.

First time at Coral Sushi. Food was very fresh and well-prepared, sushi was tender and tasty, and the service was lovely! Prices are quite high, though. I guess that's the case everywhere lately, but because of this, we won't be able to go to Coral too often, and unfortunately it won't be a regular neighborhood dinner outing for us.

We throughly enjoyed our time at the restaurant. They were prompt from seating to taking our order to delivering our food. Definitely recommend Coral Sushi and Sake to anyone who enjoys sushi. I will return myself without question.

Most of the sushi was good but not great, the soft shell crab roll with purple rice was not very good! Service was very good, and our server was pleasant. .they did bring us more than we ordered and were charged for them!

Very accommodating because we got locked out of rental car and had to be rescued. Stayed an extra hour they closed. The manager even came out after to offer assistance later! Warm atmosphere despite being in a shopping mall. Good food and value.

I coincidentally stumbled on this little restaurant when I visited the horse show in Thermal. After a full day out and about I felt like sushi and some good ol' Googling brought us there a little over 6 weeks ago. I am a pretty good chef myself and the one thing I can't prepare is sushi. This place is outstanding in regards of the menu, the food in general and obviously the service. We walked in with 8 people and where entertainted by professionals from the second we walked in. Daniella who served us was top notch! And on point. We where all happy and satisfied and felt appreciated.I live in Las Vegas and two weeks ago I was back in town and had an evening meeting with a client. 'You like sushi?'. Let 's go, I know of a nice place. Again, I walked in and who stood there? Greeting me, and my guest? Daniella! Like what? She knew me? How cool was that.We talked about her family, her travel experiences and she let us take our time to choose, order and experience another fantastic meal. My guest was delighted and so was I! This, I am telling you is my favorite place when I am in Thermal or Palm Springs for Sushi and the great starters they have. And Danielle, she is 'Dani' now; a friend!Seriously! I will go back, and go back again and again. This is an example of how a guest should be treated when you go dining out. I don't really write reviews, but in this case, they deserve the reality and I am happy to say; go check it out and tell Dani the Belgian in Vegas said hi. Watch and see, I am almost sure she will remember who I am

So made a reservation for this place and we were about 5-10 late, our reservation was canceled on opentable that's why i can't leave the review on there. After sitting it took forever for the server to come over when all we could see was staff talking to the side. garlic edamame tasted like the garlic and the edamame were two separate dishes and they put them together. They were not cooked together so the edamame was very bland. I wanted to ask for a side of Sriracha, but my server was nowhere to be found so I finally just ate my rolls. My husband and & I both ordered 2 rolls both were just so so.... my husband got a roll that was $30 and it was so small & flavorless . I asked for something refreshing as far as a drink, and they brought me a bucket of tea/ popery in a cup. I couldn't even drink it; whatever it was so floral and perfume forward i couldn't even drink it. It tasted like a perfume bottle. We could hear servers talking about inappropriate conversations right next to our table and laughing about it. It was very annoying no one want to hear about sex during dinner. The whole experience was just whatever definitely will be going back to our other sushi spot..

It is tough to do a review on the first visit to a new restaurant. So take this as an indication of performance. Good food, good service but at a higher than expected price. More on the price later. We stopped in a few nights ago, it was a Tuesday, and pretty early in service, so not surprisingly it was not at all busy. In fact on arrival we were group number 2 for the evening. The restaurant is neat and clean, small with a dozen or so tables and a sushi bar, with fish neatly displaced, all looking fresh and bright. We were new to the location and should have mentioned that, the menu is a little confusing. We ordered a California Roll and two pieces of salmon, as well as edamame. The salmon was delightful, soft and buttery. Edamame was served warm and salty and was a hit. The California Roll was different. I just never had a roll with so little complexity. I am not saying it was bad, just not at all what I expected. Each with a small (really really small) dab of artificial crab. The sushi chef worked neatly and was efficient, everything look good. With two glasses of beer, the meal came to over $50. Not really complaining, but it seemed high to me.That said, we will be back. Hand hopefully have a more detailed report with pictures.

The Chop sticks were the best part of the evening..... The food, service, price / value were not good. Marginal food and service and prices 15-20% higher than similar restaurants.

We really wanted to enjoy this new sushi spot, but the food was very disappointing. We all ordered something different, and not one person in the group liked the food. The chicken katsu had a strange taste to it. The special roll with scallops on top, the scallops were weird tasting, the California roll was tangy and off putting in taste. The bill for 4 rolls, one appetizer and one chicken entree with only one beer ordered was $200. We honestly wouldn't have minded the price if the food was good, but this missed the mark in so many ways. Service was marginal. We asked for a few different things during dinner but I think our server forgot (water, chopsticks and ginger). Hopefully, it was just an off night for them, but we won't be back. The food was just not up to par on any level!

I have NEVER written a review on anything. Made 6:15 reservation for (2) at Sushi Bar. Very prompt on seats us and soon took drink order and menu selection shortly after. Our sushi was finally delivered around 7:25 — OVER an hour after ordering. During my 44 year career in business travel I have been to many dinners but never once over an hour after placing our order. Onna 1-10 rank of “busy” with customers it was probably a solid 7. We're locals (over 30'years)'so understand season. Sushi places have options...

We arrived at 5:30 and then it was a disaster. There was 4 of us. We ordered our food 10 minutes later and then they brought one of the dish of one of the guest. He was done eating before any other dishes showed up. I ordered a Carpaccio to be served first and then a roll. The roll showed up 1:15 after we arrived and the carpaccio finally arrived. We were in the restaurant for a long time. The fish in the carpaccio was good but very small. I was not impressed with this restaurant.

Good special rolls, and the bulgogi bento box is an interesting and tasty addition.
