Mario's is over on Jefferson Street in Indio. Did a great job with their pizza. The pizza was delicious - not greasy and packed full of ingredients. Service was excellent, and although I just came in to pick up a pizza, the place is really cool and nostalgic. Highly recommend!
Very good food
Food was very good. Not a 5-star, but very good. Service was outstanding. I would recommend this place highly. I had the Chicken Marsala with Fettuccine Alfredo. Had to ask for Alfredo as it was not offered as an option in menu. I was very pleased with Alfredo. Many restaurants make bland Alfredo with more heavy cream than a really good Alfredo sauce. Mario's gets a high mark for this one. The Marsala was very favorable too.

Mario's Italian Cafe is a long-standing, moderately priced restaurant popular with seniors. The Buffalo wings are gluten-free and delicious, while the club salad and gluten-free pizza are top-notch. The cheesy garlic bread with marinara is a must-try. The portions are large and the service, like from waitress Kim, is excellent. With over 50 years in the business, Mario's offers fantastic value and a variety of dishes from lobster cannoli to pork shank.
