We walked into Mario's on Jefferson St in La Quinta. We had the BEST service. Our server's name was Vanessa. She was wonderful. We like her (and the food ) so much we went back the next day. When we walked in, she didn't ask, she simply gave me my water with lemon, and my husband his wine. She was so wonderful I wanted to take her home. Mario's Italian Cafe is a long-standing, moderately priced restaurant popular with seniors. The Buffalo wings are gluten-free and delicious, while the club salad and gluten-free pizza are top-notch. The cheesy garlic bread with marinara is a must-try. The portions are large and the service, like from waitress Kim, is excellent. With over 50 years in the business, Mario's offers fantastic value and a variety of dishes from lobster cannoli to pork shank.
